REC Next Level

Professional Training for Rec Players

Rec Next Level is the newest addition to grow the love of soccer within the BYSA and STRIVE organization. The program incorporates Pro -Coaches working with recreational players to help build proper technical skills and ball mastery while having a ton of fun. This is small group training set up in a rotational stations where we focus on 1v1 defending and attacking, ball mastery, passing and shooting. This is a 5 week training program happening on Mondays during the active season, this program will be offered 3 times a year Fall, Spring and Summer.

Rec Next Level is designed for U6 to U10 players who are ready for more soccer than a single recreational practice each week. This program is the perfect way to add extra, high-quality training alongside a player’s recreational season, and the club strongly encourages it for those who want to take the next step in their soccer journey.

 

RNL bridges the gap between our Recreational and Academy programs, helping players build the skills, confidence, and understanding they’ll need to thrive at the next level.

 

What makes RNL so valuable is our focus on developing a lifelong love for the game while building a strong technical foundation. Through fun, engaging sessions, players work on:

  • Fundamental foot skills

  • Ball control and dribbling

  • 1v1 attacking and defending

  • Confidence on and off the ball

By creating a positive, energetic training environment, we help our youngest players fall in love with soccer while preparing them for future success in the sport.

Training Environment

Players will be put into small groups based on ability every week. groups may change based on the subject and coaches observation. They will work through 4 stations each night. Each night will have a focused topic that will layer and build. These are small sided drills where coaches will focus on correcting small technical items as well and creating maximum touches on the ball. Every week one station will always be geared towards individual ball movement where they can take ideas home with them to work on their own.
